Our Mission at the West Virginia Family Grief Center is to provide caring support to grieving children, teens and adults.

Schedule:

6:00pm – Meet, greet & dinner 

6:30pm – Break into age group support sessions 

7:30pm – Convene & conclude 

Group sessions for children, teens and their caregivers meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday during the school year and once a month on Thursday's in the Summer. 

Adult bereavement support group meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday during the school year and once a month in the Summer.

Our goal is to provide a safe place with safe people for children, teens, and their families to:

  • Know they are not alone in their grief
  • Share their feelings, memories, and experiences in an atmosphere of non-judgmental acceptance
  • See that what they are going though is normal
  • Know that hope and healing are possible
